Dads are being offered this exclusive Wold-top experience in celebration of Father's Day at wildlife artist Robert Fuller's latest exhibition in Thixendale.

The highly acclaimed artist will be serving a glass of locally-brewed Wolds Way Pale Ale to visitors as they browse his latest collection of paintings and sculptures from around the world.

A Yorkshire Post columnist and wildlife expert, Robert Fuller will be unveiling a new series of oil paintings that feature birds and animals spotted on rambles close to his Wold top home.

His paintings of pheasants, owls, foxes and badgers are bound to delight dads of all ages and anyone who enjoys the stunning landscape of the Yorkshire Wolds.

Wolds Way Pale Ale is an award-winning beer named after the 79-mile trail that passes through the area and inspired by the wildlife that can be spotted whilst walking the trail.

Brewed by Wold Top Brewery, a family-run farm and brewery in Wold Newton, the beer is made from home grown barley and chalk-filtered water from the farm's own borehole.

Wold Top Brewery is committed to conserving the environment and actively cultivates the rich chalk grassland that is home to the fauna that Robert Fuller has so exquisitely painted.

This year Robert Fuller hopes to inspire visitors to his exhibition to treasure this startling landscape.

The gallery is just yards from the Wolds Way and visitors to the exhibition familiar with the wildlife that abounds there will be given tips on how they can attract this fauna to their gardens.

Robert Fuller will also throw open the doors to his studio so that visitors can see how he works, pick up tips on how he gets Britain's shiest creatures to ‘pose' for his paintings and learn how to use the same tactics at home.

Robert Fuller's exhibition runs from June 13 th to 28 th and is open daily from 11am to 4.30pm . Free glasses of Wolds Way Ale will be available to dads on Father's day, Sunday 21 st , and while stocks last….
