THE QUEEN BUYS ROBERT FULLER'S REGAL RANGE
The Autumn Fair proved a royal success for the Robert Fuller Gallery after it bagged one of the country's most high-profile clients at the Birmingham show – the Queen.
The Crown Estate, which runs the Queen's property portfolio, signed up to stock The Robert Fuller Gallery's greeting cards after spotting its latest range at the show in September.
“It just doesn't get any better than this,” said The Robert Fuller Gallery sales manager Jayne Stringer. “We weren't really expecting to do very well this year because of the credit crunch, but the fair was very busy and there were a lot of very prominent buyers there.”
Interestingly, most buyers were not just stocking up on Christmas cards but focussing on everyday ranges.
The Crown Estates picked out the gallery's striking, regal ‘Classic British' range which comprises more than 30 images featuring wildlife from around the British Isles as well as cattle and game birds.
“There were less direct sales at the show than there have been in the past, but there were a lot of people looking and we picked up a lot of leads, which we then followed up and were successful with,” added Mrs Stringer.
