British wildlife is lent a touch of glamour with the highly-detailed painting style of Yorkshire artist Robert Fuller this summer.
The acclaimed wildlife artist's latest exhibition opens on June 13 th – and behind the exquisite display of oil paintings and bronze sculptures there will be a serious message for all that admire the countryside.
House sparrows, toads and a significant number of other UK species are under threat because this country is rapidly losing its biodiversity.
Robert Fuller, who is also a wildlife columnist for The Yorkshire Post and the Gazette & Herald, will be appealing to gardeners to boost biodiversity in their gardens this summer.
Alongside stunning paintings of pheasants, wrens and woodpeckers there will be tips on how to make a haven for endangered species in your garden.
Mr Fuller will throw open the doors to his studio to show how he gets Britain's shiest creatures to ‘pose' for his paintings – and offer gardeners tips on how they can use the same tactics to bring wildlife closer to their own doorsteps.
With original oil paintings, bronze sculptures, limited edition prints and greeting cards there is sure to be something for anyone who loves the English countryside.
Robert Fuller is one of Britain 's leading wildlife artists. His work is favoured by the RSPB and the National Trust.
The exhibition runs from June 13 th to 28th and is open everyday between 11am and 4.30pm .
