BARN OWLS ARE BACK: Summer Exhibition June 1st-16th
We are lucky to have barn owls here on the Yorkshire Wolds and three years ago we nearly lost them all to a particularly bitter winter. Join me as I celebrate their return at a special exhibition of all things barn owl.
I'll be showcasing all my latest barn owl paintings and limited edition prints and will also host a talk all about how I have come to know the pairs living in the area around my gallery so well.
There will also be a birdwatching walk to find owls in Thixendale and falconry in the gallery courtyard.
Barn owls struggle to survive as far north as Yorkshire and in the worst of recent snows we lost all but two pairs of local owls. At last the populations have recovered and the sight of a barn owl gliding over the countryside is again commonplace!
Join me for a glass of wine to celebrate whilst you browse through all my latest oil paintings, limited edition prints. You can also take a look around my new studio and see what I'm working on next as well as see my photographs of fauna from all over the world.

A hidden gem, Robert E Fuller's gallery is worth discovering for an unforgettable day out on the Yorkshire Wolds. It showcases Robert E Fuller's entire collection of artwork, including original paintings, bronze sculptures, limited-edition prints, greetings cards, gift wrap and calendars. Click here to see Robert's paintings.
The exhibit is constantly changing as new originals are added and new limited editions are published. And lining the gallery walls and countertops are a full selection of greeting cards taken from the original paintings. All items are available to purchase and take away on the day or can be delivered if you prefer.
Upstairs visitors are invited to look around the artist's studio and see the development of the latest paintings on his easel. Robert's fascinating collection of photographic studies of animals and birds from his travels abroad can be seen here.
Bespoke framing: You can also have your own pictures and prints framed in the gallery, just bring them along and we can guide you through the options of choosing mounts and frames as well as providing you with a no-obligation quotation. Framing orders usually take 7-10 days to complete.
