Shortly after Ace the barn owl fledged the nest, his dad Dryer arrived with food only to find the nest empty!

Barn owl family Ace the barn owl is an only chick. His parents, barn owl pair Gylfie & Dryer, had two eggs but only one hatched. This means Ace has been spoiled with all the food his dad Dryer finds! Dryer is such a good provider he brings in a regular supplier, but when he turned up after Ace fledged, he looked so surprised to find the nest empty. Meanwhile Ace is flitting through the trees and, on spotting Dryer, lands on the roof of the nest. But Dryer, although spooked by the sound of Ace's claws above, turns away and leaves with the food still in his beak.
