Luna the tawny owl and her mate Bomber were so besotted by their foster chicks they fought over who should be first to feed them.Â
All this attention gave the owlets Dawn & Dusk the confidence they needed to find their wings.

Mr Kes’ has been showing a new kestrel mate around Fotherdale and the two have been blatently courting outside the nest boxes where barn owls Gylfie & Dryer roost.
Perhaps its time the barn owls gave up a box?Â
