Just as the sun was setting on their third day in the nest, foster tawny owl chicks Hazelnut & Cashew fledged. Watch them make their first adventurous leaps outside the nest.
Foster chicks
Tawny owls Bomber & Luna adopted two rescue chicks just three days ago, feeding them in the nest alongside their own chicks Pecan, Almond & Peanut. Aged around one month old, the newcomers are now living in the branches outside the nest.
First flights
Watch them take their very first flights and keep watching to see one pop it's head around the side of the nest as Luna arrives to feed the others. Luna's three natural chicks are due to fledge any day now. Keep your eye on the livestreams to watch the magic.
